Initial response is positive. The actions scenes are well done, and the dialogue (esp. at the end) is believable. The art, as always, is just great!

Having said that, I really need to go back and reread from the beginning, as I've lost continuity over the past year.

Thanks dood, that is great to hear. For some reason I'm extra anxious about this chapter... I haven't really been too worried about people's opinions in the other ones, but this one I'm really wanting feedback. Good or bad.

It's probably because I'm coming up against deadline to get it published for the con I'm going to launch it at and I'm needing to get people's reaction with the ending. Does it fit with the rest of the book? Has it all gone a bit too emo at the end? etc I've always seen Rocksalt as equal parts comedy and drama. But the drama hasn't always been that well received.

Yeah, it has definitely taken me faaaar too long to make this damn thing, and it does require a fair bit of continuity to understand. I do plan to do a second season. I'm going to try and do it to a regular schedule (probably around 5 pages a fortnight or so) and a bit more episodical so each chapter can stand on it's own, while still being part of a wider story arc.

Nothing short of fucking epic make. You may not have given it much hype, but there was a feeling that what was coming would be spacial. And boy, did you make it spacial mate.
