ah stefunny, how her captivating drawings coarse through my mind, rending me incapable of the most menial task while i'm held in their hypnotic grasp... then i forget about them and go do stuff. or something like that.
anyways, this is my part of an art trade with ol' stef. it's her character magenta who i have no knoiwledge about whatsoever... but she's always seemed to have... ummm... 'attitude'... in the pics i've seen. so i drew her 'biting her thumb' at someone... got all shakespeare for a minute there.
not entirely happy with the pic but it's colourful and distracting so what more could i hope for. hope you like it stef.
very nice work. i like the jacket design and the pink blends in well, although a little too well when her ponytail sorta camoflages into the jacket - i wasn't too sure what i was looking at first
also there appears to be a piece of dirt/dust just under "K: 0%"
the super mario star is a nice touch. errr...that is a super mario star on her pants right?
this is so greaaat!! OMF ;; you did her so wonderfully! ohwow! i really like her face, and the whole thumb bitting thiiing! :0 omf
awesome thank you!
*worksonherhalf*
yeah, that's a mario star. have to promote the ol' plumber whenever i can. and you're right about the ponytail... i tried to make the jacket much lighter and desaturated but after the shading it all ended up looking the same colour. oh well.
as for the dirt, i like to keep my scans raw and dirty, baby!
still waiting for someone to notice ponen and the 'kevin kline'...
no worries, glad you like it. i thought the glaringly poor proportions might turn you off a bit. i had a rummage through your stuff straight after submitting this and realised how good you are at posing and proportions and crap. anyways, it's all good.
now get off my leg... aw, stuff it you can stay there until you're finished.
Otherwise this magenta girl is tougher than I thought!
The colours are great, I always like seeing your complete lack of fear when it comes to blending colours in an aesthetically pleasing way. Other than that, her hips are too small. This guy at my school draws chicks with tiny hips, so I keep telling him his characters will die in childbirth.
Most badass, badass indeed.
