Dark recesses of my mind again. I drew them with little to no thought or intent or conscious inspiration with one of the earliest designs for the character over a year or so ago. I tried redesigning them several times but never liked any of the other styles I came up with so I just stuck with them.

Knowing me, I've probably George Harrisoned them from somewhere.
